There was a big campaign back in the day, called the 3R’s when we first started understanding the ecological impact of our overconsumption where the headline was “Reuse, Reduce, Recycle”. One of the aims was to find ways to reinterpret the use of the object so that it could avoid being thrown out. As we’ve seen with the plastic situation, we can throw something out….but that doesn’t mean that it’s gone away. It’s just creating problems elsewhere that we may not have to see but that, in some way, shape or form, we feel the collateral damage.

Today the movement is a bit bigger and we’ve seen excess shipping containers turned into housing, proposals to use excess plastic as currency in 3rd world nations to be resold to multinationals, pieces of mechanical garbage as works of art, old vinyl records as sunglasses. The list goes on.

As we know from physics there is no beginning nor end to energy, it’s just transmuted. The same applies with our emotions and experiences. We can either release them into the atmosphere, or we can keep them stored inside us. We can turn them into fuel for other actions or we can turn them into concrete creations. How we manage that process depends on a different set of R’s: Realize, Recover, Rewrite, Release.

reaching for the impossible can feed victim mentality

We’re still tracing the retrograde, so all of the secrets have not yet come out. There will be more proof of something that looked like gold, but turned out to be crystalised wax. What you may have heard or found out may have stung quite a bit. But – as we’ve previously discussed – you knew, deep down, it wasn’t what you thought it was. And now you’ve REALIZED that you can’t ignore it. Own that. There is power in that choice.

As with anything, there is an autopsy process: we go through the wreckage looking for the black box for some clue of where things went awry. We try to understand what the dynamics were & why things went down that way. If you are in this process – please look for where you abdicated your responsibility to yourself. Where you put the other entity’s needs ahead of yours. You did this on purpose: because it’s easier to solve the problems of the others than to fix your own. But this lesson came up so that you can RECOVER & heal yourself. So look for the black box inside of you.

Once you turn your attention to yourself, you realize that whatever you learned, lost, or discovered was an illusion was actually a tremendous gift. There is some serious “dodged a major bullet” energy right now. So I want you to stop looking at it as a punishment from the universe, stop the victim mentality, stop believing that you don’t have the energy to end the cycle. REWRITE the truths you’ve been telling yourself about what is possible for you.

Then I want you to take all of that pain, sadness, betrayal, shock, disillusionment, disappointment, disrespect – all of the lower energies that some situation or person thrust on to you – & transmute them. Take what you feel & turn it into something beautiful – go dancing (like no one’s watching), make the most extravagant dinner you can afford, paint something, write a song, take your kids to a water park & have more fun than them. RELEASE that energy with peace & serenity. It wasn’t your energy to begin with, it doesn’t belong in your ecosphere anymore.
