key themes: opposing forces, light through the cracks, scientific analysis, situational dynamics, value repair, make new
holy shit what a full moon eclipse that was. I don’t remember one quite as forceful for some time. somewhere something cracked under pressure. for me it was the tiles on my balcony that out of nowhere formed a small mountain from the pressure of the humidity underneath the tiles and the blazing sun on top. the glue came loose and 8 tiles detached themselves. Look for the metaphor of opposing forces somewhere in your life.
I kind of feel like the vibe over the next couple of weeks will be quieter. If things haven’t blown up yet, & you know there’s pressure building, then that still has to happen for you. But if the burst has taken place….it’s time to fix it.
So first things first, like my tiles, there were two opposing forces that caused the crack: the humidity underneath & the heat without. If you’re in a situation where you’ve only identified one “guilty party”, look again…there’s 2. And there’s no guilt. Just dynamics. The power of this Aqua/Leo connection right now can lead to a lot of high drama. The more you stay in the objective, scientific, big picture – the better the chances you have of repairing your tiles.
If it’s in a relationship, look at how you contributed to the dynamics. But do it scientifically. The problem we have with conflict resolution is that we assume that someone has to take blame, has to submit. This is false. What you are dealing with is inherited conditioned dynamics. The person you’re dealing with doesn’t know that their “humid” nature creates volcanoes when it meets your “heat”. You just see when the tiles come apart. So look at the dynamics, strip away the ego. Come from a place that always remembers that this is a person you care for.
If it’s in a work situation, its not just your colleagues. What boundaries are you not setting? What thoughts are you expressing emotionally when they should be communicated logically? Not getting enough out of your work place? Are you expecting them to supply you with what you need? No company will ever care about anything other than what you can bring them. So if you’re missing something it’s up to you to find it and go get it.
Time ago I spoke about the Japanese art of Kintsugi. It’s the process of taking broken porcelain and repairing it with gold in the cracks. That somehow in the repair of what’s broken, it could find new beauty & new life. Over the next couple of weeks as you decide what to do with your broken tiles….yeah, you can throw them out. You can also find a way to put things back together to make something new that THANKS to the cracks is now something of greater strength and value.
